Glass Cooktop Cleaning Tips!

A lot of our clients have a beautiful glass cooktop in their kitchen. A common thing that we hear at Executive House Cleaning Services is “ No matter what I use, I can’t get it looking new again!”

Well, with a lot of trial and error, we have a couple of tips for you to use next time you are trying to get the stovetop looking shiny again!

First off, DO NOT using any super abrasive cleaning solution or applicator. That will ruin the glass very quickly. Even some of the store bought products, if not used properly will damage the surface.

One way is to liberally spray the entire surface with an all natural all purpose cleaner, and let it sit for a while. Then, you will have to take a pumice stone made specifically for cleaning and lightly scrub the surface. Never use the stone on a dry area as it will scratch the stovetop permanently!

Another way is to use a 00 steel wool pad ( the finest grit you can purchase) and use the same process as above.

Remember, never use the pumice stone, or the steel wool on the glass when is it dry.
